Goal: To prepare and connect, through education and training, an adaptive workforce for Findlay-Hancock County to meet emerging employment needs.

Raise the Bar Hancock County is a partnership of education, business, social services and community leaders focused on aligning and integrating the Hancock County Ohio community learning system with economic growth and a high quality of life. One of the immediate goals of this organization is to fill job vacancies that exist today and in the near future.


Did you know?

  • In each of the past seven years, Findlay-Hancock County added 1000+ net new jobs

  • 52% of the Findlay-Hancock County workforce comes from outside of the county

  • Manufacturing is a backbone of Findlay-Hancock County, employing approximately 15,000 people

  • We believe in a Cradle-to-Career approach that includes:

    • Developing scholarships for pre-school aged children who need assistance paying for transportation, food, and registration fees

    • Engagement through Career Day and Reverse Job Fairs

    • Early exposure to local opportunities through programming such as Dream It. Do It!

    • Providing access to soft skill development in schools through The Leader in Me
